This upcoming thursday is the showing of the IA's Presentations Of Learning. These are presentations done by our class to basically synthesize everything we learned through out the semester. However the highlight of this semester was working on our documentaries. This being the case, Pedro and I would have to excel in our presentations as a team. As a team we outlined what we wanted to talk about; however, we realized that we had countless amounts of anecdotes and topics we wanted to touch on. Even though we had a lot to talk about we kept in mind the fact that we have to be concise. Therefore, we created a rough draft of our presentation. Unfortunately life may sometimes be confusing. For me, today in class was especially confusing while working on our POL. The reason being that Pedro and I were trying to tie everything we learned together into one huge clump of information. Our original thought was to tie everything revolving a theme "The Bigger Picture". After brainstorming with Mr. Topf, Augusto, and Domenico for about an hour. We finally were able to grasp the new and improved theme about the innovation "Culture". It involved explaining how culture/mindset is a key determinant of innovation. We then from there could continue the construction of our POL: Later that day, I went over to Pedro's house to elaborate more on our ideas around the theme for our POL. After numerous hours of debating over what works and what doesn't we figured out the perfect ice-breaker/introduction. This intro involved a little history behind the one and only Google. Why? Well because google has an amazing culture between their workers and their mission statement is incredibly powerful:
